White Lace Dress

I love white dresses.  When my wedding was approaching, I think I bought every white dress I could find.  I figured I would definitely have a use for all of them especially with all the showers and dinners associated with the wedding.  And, of course, I felt I should wear white to each one.  Now all those events have passed and I have a closet full of white dresses.  So last weekend, when I had my cousin’s baby shower to attend, I was so excited to pull out this cute lace number to celebrate her future baby girl.

I originally wore this BCBG dress for my rehearsal brunch but added this pink H&M blazer and matching Just Fab shoes to match the girl theme of the baby shower and also because I just love pink!  Since it was also freezing that day, I wore light pink tights to keep my legs warm.  Black tights are too harsh a contrast with light colored dresses and I found that these went perfectly and blended well with this dress.   The peplum waist is adorable and stops just short of going all the way around the dress.  This entire outfit is so feminine and girly.  The best part is shopping my closet and finding uses for my white dresses!  Now if I just had three more baby showers to go to…
