Chloe is one year old now and it is so magical watching her personality come through. She is such a happy baby and she makes everyone around her happy as well. I love spending time with her. Working full time means
I only get an hour in the morning and a few at night before she goes to sleep. It is hard getting quality time in. Sometimes I just want to walk away from working to be able to spend more time with her but I know that I am doing what is right for both of us. It is definitely a personal struggle that I know many women go through. When I do have a day off from work, I make sure to use that free time to spend it with her and Ricardo. Last week, we took advantage of a free weekday and made a family day out of it. We went into the city and enjoyed lunch at Empellon. Afterwards, we went to the Museum of Modern Art. Chloe actually took a nap for most of the exhibits but she will have so many other opportunities to see them. It was really enjoyable going outside the house and spending the day together.

Spending Family Time wearing Ann Taylor
I took this opportunity to dress her up in this adorable tulle skirt and grey sweater. She is walking all over the place now and watching her move around in this outfit was beyond sweet. My outfit is from Ann Taylor. Honestly, I haven’t shopped there in such a long time but I ventured in this past December, looking for a gift for my Aunt. To my surprise, there were so many great pieces that I wanted to wear. Ann Taylor has so much more than just the suiting separates it was once known for. There were elegant dresses, casual sweater, evening pants and even some really amazing pairs of heels. I spent much more time in the the store than planned by my Ann Taylor experience was shocking and amazing. These satin tie waist pants are a welcome addition to my closet. I have gotten so much use out of them already. I wore these pants for the holidays with a long sleeved blouse and again for girls night dinner with a fitted black top. For this day at the museum, I paired it with another Ann Taylor piece, their cableneck sweater. I don’t always want to wear jeans or leggings when its so cold outside and these pants are a pleasant change.
