Over the Knee Boots

printed jeans black and white jeans
The weather is finally changing!  It was a brutal winter but I know we are all on our tippy toes anxiously waiting for those sunny days where we won’t have to be bundled up anymore.  We’ve been teased with a lovely sunny day in the 50’s this week but now it lingers in the 40’s.  I’ll take it, anything is better than the frigid temperatures we had this year.
Fortunately, it allows me to still wear my over the knee boots.  Perfect for the weather as they are not just stylish but add an extra layer of warmth.  I’m also loving prints right now.  Definitely trying to get my hand on a few pairs of printed pants.  They are just so much fun!  This pair is printed denim from 7 For All Mankind that are so soft and comfortable.  Once again, for all you petite sized women, I purchased the cropped denim and they fit at the very top of my ankle.  No more buying regular jeans that will always need to be altered, unless I want the extra length to fold them, of course.  Its still cold outside so this cashmere sweater keeps me warm until it warms up more.
Any color top would work well with these jeans and I chose blue today.  Blue goes well with everything and is a great contrast against the black and white print of these jeans.  I also added a blue plaid infinity scarf to round out the outfit.  I purchased this warm scarf at Prima Donna in Astoria.  This store has a wide selection of scarfs and I can always find exactly what I need there for every season.   So go ahead, throw on a pair of over the knee boots, printed jeans, and any color top you like and enjoy your weekend!

Andrea
