My Real Return to the Blog after a Wedding!

I thought I would have been able to keep this up and study for the CPA, plan a wedding and work full time, but I had to let one thing go.  Now, over a year later, I have successfully passed the CPA exams, gotten married and started a new job.  But I always missed my blog.  It began and still is a hobby but I wasn’t even able to carve out enough time.  Now, I want this to be one of the best parts of my day where I can creatively express myself and share my wardrobe choices as well.  I am an accountant by trade but I love fashion and heels.
For the past year, I spent 40 hours at work and an additional 25 hours a week studying.  How did I ever put together my wedding, I don’t even know.  I planned the entire event myself with help from my husband and actually really enjoyed it.  I loved planning it and even added a lot of DIY to it.  I will make sure to share some of those later.  I had everything finished a week before and was able to relax and really enjoy every minute with family and friends.  It was the best experience of my life and I am happy to say that Astoria played such a large role in my wedding.  We wed in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church on Newtown Ave and the service couldn’t be more beautiful.  We enjoyed dancing to tassa drums on the sidewalk after the service and then went to Midtown for our reception.
So now back to my blog…my husband and I took today off and were planning to venture to Brooklyn to go to the Botanical Gardens but the clouds began to take over and we decided to stay in, but not before I got dressed up!  Looking forward to sharing more of my life and everything I love about Astoria.
