My Christmas Holiday in a RoseGal Jumpsuit

Rosegal red jumpsuit

The end of last year just flew by and I am catching up with my posts.  Sorry for the delay but I still wanted to share my Christmas holiday with you.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!  Christmas is my favorite time of the year and I happy to share it with you all.
This year, Chloé is much bigger and was eyeing her presents under the tree from early on in the month.  I love watching her enjoy the day and spending time with all our family and friends.  We are so lucky to have so many people in our life who love her so much.  She received so many gifts and it was fun helping her unwrap all of them, even if she wasn’t really paying any attention.

Last year was the first year, we stayed in New York for the Christmas holiday so I began a new tradition.   I now host a Christmas breakfast.  I have a few cousins who live close by who join us.  In addition, one of my good friends from college and her husband came to town.  I really enjoy hosting and sharing breakfast on Christmas morning is even more special.  We ate Trini Bake with saltfish and baigan choka, an eggplant dish, while sipping on mimosas.  Having Chloé in my life inspired me to create traditions that she will always remember.

The day didn’t end there.  We then headed over to my in-laws where we ate some more, of course!  My husbands brothers were all in town along with their children too.  I love having all the cousins together.  They don’t get to see each other often so its nice having them here for the holidays.  I want them to have as many opportunities to get to know each other while they are young.  More cousins came by and we all exchanged gifts for the children.  Little Miss Chloé has such a good time seeing all the other children.  She is the only girl out of the six young ones.  She wanted to play with all the boys and they were scared and running from her, apparently she is very aggressive…hee hee.  After dinner, we did our secret santa gift exchange.  I got a cookie sheet set and couldn’t stop smiling.  I can’t wait to take it out and bake cookies!!!  Afterwards, we had to round everyone up again and we had a blast having a white elephant gift exchange.  There were seventeen of us, so this got really crazy!  The gag gifts were hilarious.  There was a lot of scheming going on, but it was all in good fun.  We had a blast and everyone was exhausted by the end of the day.

This Christmas was filled with family and friends and it was a non-stop day.  This jumpsuit that I received from RoseGal kept me festive and comfortable throughout the day.  It fit perfectly and I like the belt that ties neatly across my midsection.  The color is complimentary and entire outfit is very well made.  This jumpsuit is a wonderful mix of sophisticated and casual, just like me!  I am very happy with this outfit and with my holiday.  I love spending time with everyone; that is a perfect Christmas day in my book.  How did you spend your Christmas?
