Flirty Florals

I have been a bit behind in my posting.  I always feel like everything happens all at the same time.  Last month I moved into a new apartment and have been trying to update it and get it as organized as possible.  All the while I was also interviewing for a new job.  Finally, I will be starting a new job, in my same field but in a completely different industry and different capacity.  I am excited and nervous all at once.  I look forward to the new challenges and all that the remaining of the year has in store.  My last day at my old company was this past friday and it has been a hectic year with them.  It was unfortunately not a great experience but it definitely helped make clear what is important in life.

I am an accountant by trade and my career is extremelying important to me but at the same time, I value family and spending my time where I will gain and add value!  In the end, I want to look back and be proud of what I’ve done.  Also, I feel it is important to know that your work is appreciated and supported.  Moving forward, I have already seen the difference with the new company and I haven’t even started as yet.   It is daunting making changes but I am confident that I made the best move for me and my family.

Also this change gives me more time to focus on my blogging.  This is also a huge part of me and I want to push even further with it.  With my weekends free you will see me in shorts more often and these are my new favorite shorts.  I’ve found myself wearing dresses in past summers so much that I haven’t invested in a good pair of shorts in a while.  These high waisted shorts from Zara are perfect for me with its side zipper and textured pattern.  They are cute, classy and really comfortable!  This floral blouse is lightweight and can easily be paired with slacks for work.  Looking forward to mixing these shorts with more of my tops!
