I know Peanut loved it too, I didn’t have to bundle her up to go outside and she finally had the opportunity to enjoy fresh air. Since she was born in November, I didn’t want to take her outside in the cold very often before her two month shots. As soon as she go those, we were on our flight to Miami. I can’t believe how hot it gets there in February. Its hard to believe that I moved away almost 8 years ago from Miami. Now I am just trying to find ways to get back more often to visit.
It is finally warming up here in New York and it will soon enough be time to hit the beach here. Whether you are flying down to Miami Beach or staying local and heading to Rockaway Beach, beach attire can range from shorts and tops to long dresses. You can always find me at the beach in light and airy maxi dresses like this one from Forever XXI. If traveling down south, it is important to pack for Miami carefully. It can get hot even by the water so it’s good to find lightweight fabrics that won’t stick to you. Outfits for the beach are pretty simple and easy to put together and I prefer maxi dresses because they are easy to wear and can double as a cover up for your swimsuit. Light colors are also preferable because darker shades of clothing will retain more heat. You always need a pair of shades in Miami and these Gucci cat eye shades are my current favorite. Dressing for the beach should be fun and easy.
